Yep. We stayed up for the shut down, but nothing happened. We still had fun though.

Would take too much effort to uninstall NA en re-install EU for something that will be gone forever anyhow soon. Everything is temporary anyhow, why stand still at a single thing that wasn't meant to last anyway.

Because some of us have a lot of emotional attachment to EU.MYTHOS wrote:Would take too much effort to uninstall NA en re-install EU for something that will be gone forever anyhow soon. Everything is temporary anyhow, why stand still at a single thing that wasn't meant to last anyway.
For me it was a huge part of my life, I met a ton of great people who are still very important friends to me today and I wanted to be there for its last moments.
Anyway a few screens from me:

Anyway a few screens from me:I tried uploading the video of Ivan and Elin playing the Turret Opera but my internet isn't complying, may get it up soon though.

I rather keep emotionally attached to friends and bonds, than to the game itself. Long live skype, facebook and what not. I play for the people, not for the game.

Your sort of missing the point, it's a nostalgia thing.MYTHOS wrote:I rather keep emotionally attached to friends and bonds, than to the game itself. Long live skype, facebook and what not. I play for the people, not for the game.
It's like if something important happened in your life in a specific place you remember that event when you go there.
It's the same deal. I'm still emotionally attached to the actual bonds (and I seriously hope you didn't mean to imply I wasn't), but the place those bonds were forged is a part of that attachment.

Woa woa, hold your horses, what makes you think I would imply that? Unnecessary defensive situations here! What makes you all red-alert and stuffs. Drink some Iced-Tea and dance a bit, like wolverine does.

Because it could be read that way and I'm not yet at a point where I know you well enough to properly judge how you mean things.MYTHOS wrote:Moururii wrote:

It's more of an aside, don't read into it too much.

Hey hey tis no biggie! I was just talking outta own experiences, not yours or anything. I wouldn't even know how to or why. D:
On the side, I think it's pretty sad that some of us, including me, have to say goodbye to some friends in the game, for they cannot find the will to start all over again, despite the fact of how much they loved EU. Mabinogi lost quite a lot of community members. I'm glad I still got em in skype though.
